Well, I guess this is why its called "scrap"booking!
No, you won't see those cute little tags on my page today.
Challenge #3: Use negative parts on your page.
I knew as soon as I punched the tags out that this little kraft piece was destined for this challenge.
It just looks like a banner waiting to happen! A birthday in December seemed the perfect use.
Here's the birthday boy - doesn't get any cuter than this :)

His cupcakes were adorned with his favorite characters right now - the Paw Patrol.
I love when my kit can cough up the perfect paper from the B sides!
The polka dot was just the thing, plus my gold "hooray" word forgery turned out FAB.

So happy with how the scrap banner turned out.
Perfect way to showcase those forged letters!
I stamped the wood veneer #3 with a grid pattern to coordinate with those letters.

Well done, I would have never envisioned a border from that scrap. Cute page of a cute fella.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susanne. The hard part is NOT saving every one of those type of pieces :)
DeleteI agree with Susanne - I would have just thrown that piece away but the banner is so cute - like the lettering in it too. And of course, the birthday boy is just adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Susan. That lettering has a little more presence in real life :)
