This month we have something old & something new.
The old is our usual inspiration kit to inspire your own.
The new is that this month there is no Guest Designer...

Now, for the Scrappy Canary "Globe Trotter" June kit:
Let's open up the Magic Blue Box & view...
I really went for an item by item match this time. I like that when I do this,
I unearth things in my stash that would otherwise NE-VER make it onto a page.
Their papers: Pink Paislee: Atlas - Altitude, Post Card & Ticket To Ride; Cocoa Vanilla: Made of Awesome - Directions; Simple Stories: Summer Vibes - White Wood; Fancy Pants: Making Waves - Boy Shorts & Relaxing.
My papers: grey hearts
2012 Crate Paper, string
of dots unknown,vintage
items 2014 BoBunny, ombre
triangle 2013 October Afternoon, distress
blue Heidi Swapp, bugs
2013 October Afternoon, blue
bandanna 2012 Authentique, yellow
stripe 2012 Echo Park, multi
floral Bella Blvd, orange
unknown, stars
& stripes forgery, yellow
floral unknown
This kit had very few "extras" so I tossed in some for good measure!
These were mostly things I pulled to use with my forgeries this month.
As always I reserve the right to cherry-pick whatever I might need from my stash as I create.
Now no excuses! Keep hopping & get busy counterfeiting :~)

I like the retro feel of your kit Leslie and look forward to watching it come together on layouts. Cute bug paper.
ReplyDeleteLooks great Leslie, and you can nev-er have too many extras!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite piece of your kit is that stars and stripes paper and I should have known - you forged it! Really looking forward to hearing more about that one. I agree with Suzanne - you definitely can never have too many extras. Great kit!
ReplyDeleteI love your kit, and I want your forged paper! The string of dots is AC My Girl, I believe. Lovely kit, Leslie!
ReplyDeleteI had to take a second look at your forged paper as it's so good! I think that yellow floral is October Afternoon! It's a fabulous kit as I would have expected and I love that you matched it item for item. I always enjoy that too and you're right, some things really get unearthed to be included in this way. Looking forward to your FoF!
ReplyDeleteYou did fantastic matching the items. The best thing about this kit is that I could see every piece work together, Love the blue. Your large selection of "extras" looks like tons of fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Janine! Hope you'll be joining in this month - I remember that you like blue :-)
DeleteThis is a GREAT kit my friend! I love your forged stars and stripe paper. Can't wait to see how you did that one!
ReplyDeleteBig Hugs ~~ dawn
Thanks, Dawn! Check back in on the fourth :-) I saw that it was Sir Cuteness's birthday! He's growing up so fast, sis...
DeleteMine are 3-1/2, 2-1/4, 3 & another girl due in 4 weeks! The lights of my heart.
Fabulous kit, Leslie - I am absolutely in love with your stars & stripes forgery and can't wait for the tutorial!
ReplyDeleteWell, I'll be a monkey's uncle. You had me fooled. On first glimpse of the photos, I thought "hey, she has the original paper there. Oh doesn't it look nice." Then I read the credits. haha. Slight swoon here over the vintage items/bo bunny.
ReplyDeleteThis past week my church sponsored a staycation. Minister was on holidays but at home. We scrapped from 9 am- 9 pm from Monday to Thursday. I fit in my paid job and had some good production in the blocks of time, before and after work. Felt the scrap mojo coming back.
I guess that really DOES make me a Master Forger, lol! So happy to hear you are feeling the scrappiness again. That dedicated time sure does help fan the flames! Looking forward to catching up with you again soon - xoxoxo
DeleteLooks like a cool kit!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kirsty! Will you be joining us this month? Will watch the Linky for your name :-)
DeleteLove the kit :) I like your approach to it this month, that is the way I do it just about every month :) Love the forgery and when I seen the kit on the main blog I knew I would be forging that one too it just screams white cardstock and washi tape :) The string of dots paper is a good choice why you and I have great taste cause I have that paper in my stash too :)
ReplyDeleteTina, you DO have great taste, lol! That string of dots paper has appeared in a few of my previous kits. :-D
DeleteThis is looking PRETTY GOOD to play with!!! I hope I can gather something together this month. Loving the project-life like paper.... the one with the red telephone box.... awesome!! This is total fun scrappiness here!
ReplyDeleteThx, Mandy - I thought there were a lot of things in here this month that could be improved by fussy-cutting ;-)
DeleteWow! You have such a lot of little embellishments in your kit - I hope they all make it into your projects too!
ReplyDeleteLovely kit. I also like doing paper for paper match and I try to match up the backsides at times to. Looking forward to your forgeries and how you use the add ons.
