Our kit to counterfeit this month has no lack of them!
First let's give a shout out to our April Guest Designer,
the lovely Louise from Boys, Bugs and Beautiful Buttons!
Now let's introduce C'est Magnifique's "Enchanted Garden" February kit.
Video reveal HERE plus post includes list of items. |
Kaisercraft's "Treasured Moments" line is featured.
Care to see my take?
Let's take a peek in the Magic Blue Box!
It's everything my vintage/collage heart could desire...
I built my kit around my 8x8" pad of 7 Gypsies 2012 "Trousseau" papers:
Here's the full (and I mean F-U-L-L!) kit:
Lots of frames, ribbons, doilies, flowers, keys, chipboard -
I even found a piece of beaded & sequined black netting!
I tossed in some stencils in the hopes of doing some mixed media this month.
More than one of the Master Forgers mentioned scrapping
some heritage photos this month. This seems the perfect kit for it.
Now hop along to the second "L", and if you didn't start at the beginning, don't miss a thing!
Once inspired, dive into your stash & collect all the elements that speak to your scrappy heart.
Then post to the Linky so that we might be inspired by YOU!
Thanks for stopping by! |
Beautiful kit Leslie :)Cool to see the craft color doily atleast that is what it looked like to me. I thought it was flowery too, that is my first word on the list I drew up of my 1st impressions :) The heritage take on the kit is a great idea to scrap those heritage photos :) Just may get a minute or two to scrap a few in my stash :)
ReplyDeleteThx, Tina! That doily is actually dyed - by ArtC at Michaels (in with the Tim Holtz stuff) Can't wait to see YOUR kit!
DeleteTotally drool worthy. There are so many yummy items in there. This will keep you in your craft room for weeks :)
ReplyDeleteThx, Julene. I certainly hope so :D

ReplyDeleteThx, Margie! Now the big challenge is to use it up, lol
DeleteOh I absolutely love your kit! 7 Gypsies are one of my favorite brands! And every time I see those little plastic roses I swoon! Look at all those embellies!
ReplyDeleteThx, Natalie! I've been hoarding my 7 Gypsies stuff for far too long :) Can't wait to see your kit!
DeleteYou must need an extra blue box to hold all this vintage loveliness! I especially like all those frames (the gilded gold ones!) and the keys you included. I think you're going to have a very busy month!
ReplyDeleteThx, Susan! My kit reveals are always on the same size poster board so as long as there isn't too much dimension, it fits! Those frames will DEF be making an appearance (I knew you would like those :)
DeleteA fabulous kit..how lovely to else some florals after the long winter.
ReplyDeleteThx, Elaine! I am starved for flowers here in Michigan as we normally have a very late Spring. My daffs are just getting ready to bloom but it has started snowing! 8 inches expected by morning... sigh
DeleteWow...you'll be spoilt for choice. They're are too many lovely items to choose from. Look forward to seeing what you create x
ReplyDeleteThx, Louise! I rarely "kill" my kits but I hope to make some opulent pages with this one! So happy to have you on the Team this month :)
DeleteThat's the pretty kit that anyone could ever describe as "monster". Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteOh, I don't know, Susanne! I think I could get pretty Gothic with this if I tried, lol! ;)
DeletePretty! Very vintage-y! All your embellishments are so well coordinated.
ReplyDeleteThx, Kelli! I got pretty literal with this one :) Not sure where it will take me this month!
DeleteWow! Lots of amazing embellishments to choose from! Your kit is so cool! Love all the vintage!
ReplyDeleteThx, Sally! Can't wait to see YOUR kit! Lots of directions to go with this one, as you can see in the Team reveals :)
DeleteWOW! I think you made a kit bigger than I can. Maybe that's a challenge for me? ;) I love your colors and all of your embellies. I cannot wait to see what you do with it.
ReplyDeleteThx, Tara! I kind of just want to roll around in it - like a pile of money, lol! Consider yourself challenged ;)
DeleteThx, Julia! Sometimes I get a little too caught up in literal translation, but it ups my game on the scrappy side :D I'll be looking for yours in the Linky!
ReplyDeleteThere is so much that I want to comment on, but where to start? How about the fabulous choice of patterned papers? *swoon* Or the amazing selection of embellishments? *swoon* Or perhaps the overall, stunning effect of the full kit? *swoon*
ReplyDeleteI would buy this in an instant!
That will be $49.99.
DeletePlus shipping...
:D
Thx, Clair! I have almost as much fun kitting & photoing as I do scrapping, lol
Mega kit - and having seen your challenge page I know you'll be putting it to great use!
ReplyDeleteAs Austin Powers would say, "Oh yeah, Baby! Gr-r-r-r-r"
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome collection of beauty. Looking forward to the results.
