090115 CKC September Kit Reveal

Whew!
August was a whirlwind of big doings.

We took a fabulous two week land/sea/air cruise to Alaska to celebrate the hubsters retirement,

then returned home to welcome our new granddaughter, Adelaide Elise to the world!

Meanwhile, our September Guest Designer Cindy was busily compiling her kit forgery.
Be sure to click over for a visit to her blog to see her wonderful card creations.

What provided the inspiration this month?

Studio Calico's August Scrapbook kit "Pop Art"
The Project Life, Card or Planner kits are options as well.

This kit is so far from my stash that I only found one paper I felt was a good match.
Stay tuned to the Forgeries on the Fourth post for details...

Let's go check out the Magic Blue Box :-)

Their papers:

MY papers:

Not bad, if I say so myself!
I had a grand plan for that daisy paper... sigh

So here's the full   Stolen Masterpieces  kit:

I subbed in some PL cards for the epoxy stickers which I never know what to do with!

This kit reminded me a lot of the Messy Box we did earlier this year.
I really enjoyed scrapping with that so I am hoping this inspires me.
I'm thinking a sweet little baby book, perhaps? hehe

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. I think you get the prize Leslie: most accurate counterfeit! It's still somehow more coherent than the original though - well done! Have fun with all those baby and vacation photos xx

  7. With all that you have going on in your life, where did you find the time to put together such a lovely kit with your usual amazing forgeries?! I can't wait to read the details on how you made those papers - they are so true to the original. Your kit name is perfect too! (And I'm going with feathers too in place of those leaves in the SC kit - still haven't been able to commit to a die-cut machine so I'll forging those embellishments.

  8. WOW! You did it again! I love your forgeries and how you kept your kit lean, just like in the inspiration. All of your elements are so carefully placed and create such a pleasing vignette. Wonderfully presented and I know will be fabulously executed. xoxo
