THE SCHEME translates into the colors for your kit.
THE EVIDENCE are themes you can use/embellishments you can add.
THE TESTIMONY are ideas you can make from your kit!
This should be interesting...
first I pulled plain cardstock as close
to "The Scheme" colors as possible.
I wanted to have these colors in front of me
as I trolled my stash to assemble my kit.
Let's see what's in the Magic Blue Box this "Softly Spring" day!
First my papers...
Some extra smaller sized paper pads...
Some washi - well, a LOT of washi!
Some sequins...
DCWV Vintage Collector Stack (2), Webster's Pages, FabScraps, Crate Paper, DCWV, Tim Holtz, Pebbles, Pink Paislee |
Some extra smaller sized paper pads...

Some washi - well, a LOT of washi!

And seeing that it is April Fool's Day we have another special bit of fun for our followers!

facts, guess which one is NOT true & post your guess in the comments of THIS post.
1. I won a baton twirling championship in junior high school.
2. I almost lost my hands in a chainsaw accident.
3. One of my grandchildren was born on April Fool's Day.

This is a big kit, you'll have plenty to work with ! About your game, I think 2 is wrong.
ReplyDeleteWowee! What a fabulous kit.I'd kill for those embellies. I don't think your grandchild was born on April fools day.
ReplyDeleteI think your kit is awesome - you always include so many bits and pieces which I know will translate into fabulous pages. The CSI concept was a lot of fun, wasn't it? Your blue box is always such a delight.
ReplyDeleteI think number three is incorrect. Although, of course, if I had paid more attention to the arrival dates of the little ones, I would know for sure! I'm such a bad retainer of details! Sorry!
Nice to see a photo of you Lynette :-)
ReplyDeleteLove your jam-packed blue box - especially the stick pins and the Lesley G quantity of washi!!!
I'm thinking #1 is the lie ... but I'm hoping it was #2 ... but you wouldn't make that up, would you?!?
Wow awesome kit! Lots of choices too and the washi you picked out looks so good (did you set some from downtown tapes? I'm recognizing a few of them from my own stash) :) Yes wise choice to have the color cardstock out to help, will be using that little tip :)
ReplyDeleteI agree with JimJams I think it is:
1. I won a baton twirling championship in junior high school.
By the way Happy Birthday to your Grandchild :)
I am just drooling over all that washi !!! Love your kit Leslie. I hope #2 is false!!!
ReplyDeleteSplendid Kit. I just want to jump in and roll around in all those sequins. I am hoping that #2 is the lie. I believe Cloe was early spring, and early at that so I am probably safe to say "Happy Birthday little C. " But then I start thinking, we are so alike; the twirling award would take coordination. (blaring absence of that in my world) And of all the photos and stories you have shared, I have not seen you reference to being a majorette. So while the chain saw accident is dreadful to consider, I have to go with #1 being the lie.
ReplyDeleteWow! Totally digging your paper choices and fun embellishments. I love that you put a vintage spin on your kit. My guess is that #3 is the falsehood.
ReplyDeleteWow! you have a lot to work with! Great kit!
ReplyDeleteMargie, you didn't give a guess for the game!
DeleteA huge kit to play with, love those pins!
ReplyDeleteI think No.3 is you falsehood as I can imagine you twirling batons and No.2 has to be true - you wouldn't make that up, would you?
I won't guess since I know the answer, but I will comment on your fabulous kit. You always give yourself so many wonderful options. Love to see some of your new Scrappy Chic purchases get right into the rotation. Love the botanical feel of the wheel barrow paper, the seed packets and the birdie in the nest. So glad Spring is finally near for you.
ReplyDeleteFabulous kit! I love how you've started with the colour scheme - and worked with the embellishment list - but it's ended up a little different! x
ReplyDeleteFun kit, you have a lot to work with this month! I am going to guess that question #2 is false... and it's true I'd love to hear the back story on that. I bet that was scary!
ReplyDeleteFabulous, generous kit..lots to play with! I think NO. 3 is wrong
ReplyDeleteAs always, your kit is so rich and generous. great choise of papers and embellies. enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteThat's not a kit, it's a scrapbook store. Have fun playing.
ReplyDeleteThat kit is fabulous and I adore that you start with the cardstock colours - it helped me when I went to select the papers - so thank you for the tip.
ReplyDeleteI'm hoping the chainsaw accident is the incorrect one!
pretty pins and gorgeous patterns. That's one bumper brilliant kit.
ReplyDeleteWow that is a huge kit! Good luck using it all up! LOL I am going to guess that Number 2 in not true.
ReplyDeletegorgeous kit full of goodies, like a sweetie shop! as for your fake fact, I really hope it's #2
