The only thing more fun than putting my Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog kit together each month...
...is using it on the three challenges!
Challenge #2: Use this sketch
October Afternoon's Thursday Sketch |
I gave it a bit of a squish & a stretch, with a little banner to start your eye off in the right place.
I used that wonderful Heidi Swapp Serendipity "New Day" sunburst paper as a background, with a little white pen work to enhance the sun rays & embellish a few of the circles on the sequined portions.
The other patterned paper is Basic Gray's Nook & Pantry "Placemats".
Next I stenciled stars in place of the chevrons in the sketch.
These areas will anchor my fussy-cut three part title.
More fun adding the bits & bobs that make it complete.
Some products & papers were as old as at least 2011!
Some detail shots from the page.
Had a lot of fun with this one!
Easy-peasy when you build the fun into your kit :~D
Wonderful page - it is so cheerful!
ReplyDeleteVery happy page indeed. Nicely scrapped.
ReplyDeleteSuper cute page love what you did with the sketch :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic page
ReplyDeleteFussy cut queen strikes again. I didn't realize that you had fussy cut that on first look. What a clever way to create your title. And the photos? So fun to see little Miss C so busy at work. Such a happy layout.
ReplyDeletewhat a fabulous page - from the great use of that gorgeous background paper (so clever to enhance with white pen), through to the cute banner, the star stencil and of course those über-cute phtoos! what a winner!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunny page! I love the way you stretched the sketch-and the stenciling is lovely too!
ReplyDeleteThe squish and the stretch works well - great colours, so much fab stuff to catch my eye - love the close up shots - off to look again :)
ReplyDeleteLeslie, passing thru following our return from vacation/holiday for a few weeks. So glad to be catching up with what some of my fave scrappers online have been up to ;) xxxx
