051515 Jennifer Grace Creates Focus Your Craft & Soul Blog Hop

Our challenge was to create absolutely anything
inspired by "Focus, Jennifer's word for 2015,
That got me thinking about what this year is about for us.

With my husband retiring in just thirteen days
we are looking forward to some fun!



No longer will the clock rule our days.


We have a Great Courses DVD cooking class to go through together.


We are taking a land/sea/air trip to Alaska!


We will be building a cabin at our retreat.


Being inspired by Jennifer's style I made sure to add plenty of bling
and lots of bits to add texture & interest, and I gave my golden girl (a Jenni
Bowlin stencil fussy-cut from gold foil) a little English cottage home :~)



Well, I can't hold you up any longer from the rest of the fun,

      Thanks Sandie! The cabin will definitely be primitive (no plumbing or electricity) but cellphone signal is STRONG lol :-)

    Leslie,, this is so clever! I love the way your golden girl is holding on to your plans like balloons, and how each one is so perfectly detailed (and that little bear is just adorable).     You definitely captured Jennifer's style with your carefully placed bits and bobs. FAVE? The little wooden frame with the wood veneer pine trees. You have some exciting things to FOCUS on, too. I expect a full report and recipes from those Cooking DVDs! I am always looking for new things for my menus! Such a fun layout...such a blessed life! Enjoy!

    Wow you have lots of fun stuff planned. I so wish my hubby and I could do stuff like that together but he works a lot and a long time till he retires. In the meantime I am enjoying traveling with my sister and visiting friends I have met online.
