I'm not sure why I feel compelled to find a twist to the inspiration!
This deer was standing just inside the woods at the road when we went slowly by.
So we backed up for a photo. She took off into the woods but I could still see her.
I had my zoom lens at max and I took a chance on getting the shot.
Later that evening as we passed this field we could see a deer at the shadowy edge of the field.

It took me a long time to find the deer in the second photo - they really do camouflage themselves well. I enjoy your wildlife and nature photos; thanks for sharing them.
ReplyDeleteI have to say that the first thing I saw in your first photo is a pair of eyes! Look again... there are even eyebrows! Spooky Lol! Yes, I can just see your 'game' deer!! What a superb photo!!! ( I nearly said 'shot') but photo seemed more appropriate! LOL!
