Barreling along through the month of September,
let's take a look at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge #1!
Challenge 1: Pop of color on white: Keep most of your project white and use ONE nice pop of color for a change of pace.
I knew right away that I would scrap a b/w photo of my new granddaughter.
I thought the bright flower paper from my kit would be perfect,
but when I got going it seemed harsh so it didn't make the cut.
I love how soft & sweet this turned out!
Can't wait to see how you interpret this challenge.

ReplyDeleteCor, this is such a beautiful layout. It's so soft and feminine, but it's fresh and modern too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful layout, completely worthy of that photo,- both will surely be a treasure in the years to come!

Soft and dreamy! Just beautiful!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely page (I'm late commenting this month!!!!)
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful photo and sentiment. a perfect interpretation of the challenge!
The poem on the forged paper, the title block and the tone on tone details create a synergy that engages the view to pause and consider how they each relate to the photo. Not to be overlooked is the excellent mother and child photograph. This is truly an excellent composition.
