050118 Archi-scraps May Challenge

Archi-scraps May 2018 Challenge: CORK
The month of April for us was mostly taken up with making maple syrup for the first time.
No, we had no intention of doing this. We noticed that one of our trees that lost a limb last winter looked wet... hmmmm. This was the original set up:

Did you know it takes 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup?!?
After we committed to finding a few more trees it got a little more professional!

Once we got three gallons of sap we did a big boil...

Then a little boil to finish...

All to get this...

Doled out sparingly!

So! Let's get started with the layout.
I figured out a really cool way to preview a page with a lot of stickers.

I slipped a piece of cardstock into a heavy duty zippered bag, cut some printer paper up into 3x3" squares to help with photo placement, and gently placed the sticker embellishments until I was generally happy. Tweaked my photos in Photoshop then digitally added them to the mockup!

I had a piece of white embossed card stock that looks like woodgrain & thought I would ink it - could I find it??? Nope. What is great about the plastic bag trick is that I can preview a bunch of papers! Don't know how to explain the process from here on out, but my stash dive produced the perfect paper.
