Another oldie (pics from 2011!) done in a very simple style like the rest of the album. My daughter had a sheet hung up dividing the place into girl & guy zones so there would be no peeking. 030119 Second Calvinball Page!

I just finished a month long LayOut A Day (LOAD) challenge over at Scraphappy so I am definitely in a scrapping groove. It's tradition to do a round up page of all of the scrappy goodness from the month so this is mine. The theme for the month was The Wizard of Oz, hence my title.

Calvinball criteria includes a 12x12" page, a star, an enamel dot, floral paper, the color green - each worth 1 point. I've also posted on the Calvinball Facebook group, my own FB page, IG & Pinterest at 1/2 point each, plus this post for 1 point. I've already been commenting but will continue as I love the community aspect so those points will be tallied at the end of the day. 

I think I've got this figured out so far, but I'm expecting it to get crazy before too long!

030119 First Calvinball Page!

The stuff of scrapbooking legend.
I may have the BEST making month of my life!
This is definitely my jam.

I've been pulling out all of those boxes & bags of unfinished projects, pages & page ideas and putting them all in one place. Some have product with them that are being rediscovered & hopefully used, like the collection used on this page (2011 Creative Imaginations/Iron Orchid Designs "Loolah".)

I'm not a real collection user but it made this page so easy. There was already stitching on the paper - a touch I love to add. I fussy-cut a few flowers to frame the photo from a companion paper & used half of their dimensional sticker pack. I added a plaid photo mat from an October Afternoon 8x8" pad plus OA alphas. Typed a little on my vintage typewriter & added a puffy star & ice cream cone, topped off with an enamel dot "cherry on top!"
