080114 August Counterfeit Kit

Entering into the dog days of summer in my part of the globe, I would like to give a warm welcome to our August Guest Designer Sherri Thompson! Be sure you toddle over to her blog if you haven't already hopped there, say hello, & prepare to be inspired.

OODLES of inspiration this month over at the Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog
with this bodacious inspiration kit line, "Penny Arcade" from Studio Calico!

Three main kits plus add-ons with names like Skeeball, Spun Sugar,
Fortune Teller, Pinball, High Striker, Funnel Cake & Bottle Toss,
I am now looking forward to our county fair this month!
My very first thought was to do page kits with those names in mind
(wish I had) but I reverted to starting with the papers & never looked back...

Let's go see what's in the Magic Blue Box!

Hot Summer Days

Make sure you visit the CKC tutorial post on the 8th to see how I forged these:

Now continue on the blog hop to reveal more inspiring counterfeits from our Designers!

    2. I think the number of PPs sounds PERFECT. I like the concept of minimalism and fewer, but I like the reality of many more choices and combos :) :) :) (ha!) the more, the yummier ;) HW
