110115 CKC November Counterfeit Kit, "Mum's the Word"

More twists & turns this month at Counterfeit Kit Challenge blog.

The Master Forgers have collaborated on our own add-on kit.
Tomorrow we will share the complet list of what we included,
but each forger's kit reveal will showcase their chosen add-on item.

November's inspiration to forge is once again not actually a kit!
This time it is the August release "Cedar Lane" collection from Pink Paislee.

I really love this color scheme, so I set out to troll my stash.
I'm not interested so much this month in a close match for my papers.
In fact, I only have one forgery & the rest are loosely based on the inspiration.

Let's open up the Magic Blue Box & see what other goodies I've gathered up for

A custom stamp set, some cute little bow clips, a nice scatter of gold embellis & diecut arrows...

...flair, diecut tags,  Crate Paper puffy stickers & K&Company clips

...an assortment of washi tape, and some really old MME brads.

This month I've got a rather large selection of alphas,
along with a sheet of Maggie Holmes chipboard and an assortment of dies & stamps.

As always I reserve the right to dip into my stash as I use up this scrappilicious supply of goodies!
As I mentioned at the beginning of this post, the Master Forgers
have each selected an item for a custom Design Team Add-On kit this month!

I hope you are inspired to sift through all those sensational scrappy supplies in your stash and make up your own counterfeit kit forgery! Help those once-loved yet abandoned misfit goodies find their way to the light of day on your November pages & projects.

Enjoy the rest of the hop!

    1. Great minds, indeed, lol!
I didn't color the diecut leaves - they are cut from the paper under the "Sweet" gold word in the reveal :)

    1. Thanks! The watercolor leaves were diecut from the paper just under the "Sweet" gold embelli.
I'll make you a deal - if I use this kit as little as I have done the last few months I will send you an add-on!

  5. Oh so much goodness there - I especially like the partial bunch of brads. I know that's weird, but for some reason, brads are making a comeback in my scrappy realm. Can't wait to see you scrap this!!

    1. Thanks! The brad thing would be weird except that 1. You bought your brad stash because you liked them, and 2. They haven't been purged in all this time which means you STILL like them! Let's design a scrappy bumper sticker, "Free the Brads!" lol :D

  7. It makes me happy to see so many sweet gold die cuts and the puffy stickers are cute beyond words. But my! How many alphas is that?!?! Are you planning something specific with them all? I like the more relaxed approach to the kit papers and your blue box is inspirational. A perfect November kit!

    1. Twelve. Yes - count them - 12 alphas! And yes, I do have plans for some (maybe half?)
I really enjoyed putting this together a bit more freestyle than I have done of late.
