020121 CKC February Kit Reveal

Welcome to a month dedicated to love!

Master Forger of Ceremonies Lisa has heroically taken her second turn this year to invite a Guest Designer to join the team for the month to forge a romantic European kit - but more on that later.

First let's meet Eileen from the UK! Eileen lived in the US for awhile which is where she picked up the scrapbooking habit.

"Hello, I am Eileen. I live in the United Kingdom and have been a Scrapbooker for about 15 years. I am a wife and a mother of two sons who are now men! My first grandchild is due early June so very excited to be a Grandmother.

I joined the CKC group as I like the idea of being able to recreate a kit specifically to match my own style and, of course, use up my stash!    I was both flattered and surprised at being invited to be a Guest Designer for February but also delighted to take up the challenge. My scrapbook pages are generally 12 x 12 layouts, plain and simple, no frills and spills. I do like to use embellishments but tend to keep them to a minimum to allow the photographs to take centre stage.

My other hobbies are researching my Family History, Baking, Reading (crime novels), walking my Dog (Jet, a Jack Russell) and taking lots of random photos to scrapbook."

Lisa loves her months to be more Europe focused so she has selected the Herzstück kit from Scrapbook Werkstatt in Germany. We may have had them before but this time we are  using their current February 2021 kit. There are detailed photos on the site plus a supply list from a variety of sources, so be sure to check for what may already be in your stash! Don't forget to look for items to forge. Lisa thinks it has just the right hint of romance!
