100419 CKC October Forgeries

Normally I would have given a try at some of the papers but my uber-busy schedule this month precluded that. The tag would have been perfect in kraft with bright hole punched confetti but I went with a little cooler colour scheme in my kit. And I do love the sparkle of those sequins!

Theirs/Mine
The hexagons were just a matter of punching, slicing into sixths, and layering onto white background hexes.  I tossed the trimmings into my kit for random embellishing, including some smaller sizes.

(sorry for the yucky florescent lighting!)
As always forgery doesn't have to be elaborate!

Don't forget to return to the CKC blog on the 12th for our first challenge to help you use up all your goodies. We always love to see your work, so please share your kits and projects with us. You can use our Monthly Link-up page, post them in our Facebook Community, or share them on Instagram (we are @counterfeitkitchallenge or tag us using #counterfeitkitchallenge and #ckcoctober2019).

Thanks for stopping by!

  2. Great reminder that it doesn't have to be complicated! I love the tag and have to admit that I hadn't noticed the confetti edging - I might have given those a go!
