Here's the overview:
First the stitched felt leaves. ***SWOON*** I saved a screenshot of these when I ran across them & have been hoping to have a reason to make them. Used felt with this leaf die plus embroidery floss, and also cut a few out of some burlap paper from a friend. Look at all of that yummy texture!
Inspired by these Felicity Jane/Harper stitched felt leaves. |
Next up, these uber cute geometric critters. A new (to me) Tuesday Morning stamp set find, colored with Shimmer mists, except for that hedgehog fussy-stamped with the colored inks (worth the effort, don't you think?)
Plus the perfect leaf stamps to counterfeit these beauties:

Do yourself a HUGE service & follow her - not a day goes by that I am not inspired!
I used Archival black ink to stamp the leaves from pages out of a prospectus (I always save these as the paper is kind of tissuey & they often include graphs & charts if I want them) & an assortment of Distress ink pads to add the colors.
I hope you've found some inspiration to create your own kit element(s) this month! Be sure to check out the other Master Forgers counterfeits this month on the November FOF post. Be sure to return for these November features:

ReplyDeleteLovely forgeries.
ReplyDeleteI think you could set up business for those felt leaves as well as the printed ones! They are both swoon worthy as I knew they would be! Thanks for the fabulous inspiration here and reminding me that I really need to get more creative on the 4th!
