030116 CKC March Kit Reveal

A dear friend from the Design Team is rejoining us this month as our
Guest Designer, Lesley Graffham!
So happy to have her back to share her own brand of forgery & creativity.

Another unorthodox inspiration this month at CKC!

Ali Edwards April 2015 Story Kit "Click"

This kit is, in many ways, the antithesis of what would normally "float my boat" -
I'm no fan of orange, and there is NO. PATTERNED. PAPER.

ACK

Of course, this is my version, so I can make whatever decisions I like about what goes in.
I must say, though, that I do enjoy rising to the challenge...
So I had a bit of a troll through my things, keeping focused on just the elements as presented.

A stamp set, a large embellishment, a plastic word, some phrases & Project Life-style cards.
I chose not to follow the camera/photo theme but otherwise stayed on course.

Let's get to the official reveal of

No forgeries this month as my stash yielded up what I needed.
I will just use white card for my pages.

Be sure to create a kit that you will USE, as the whole purpose is stash-busting!
You can go rogue & toss in your favorite go-to supplies & products.
Create your own embellishment add-on kit with all the bits & bobs that make your scrappy heart sing.

Make sure to post it on the Linky so we can stop by & be inspired.
Now hop on to get a gander at Lisa's creativity.

  2. Thank you for the warm welcome Leslie, I've missed your blue box and your kit looks even bigger than Julene's.
Beautiful colours, you'd better get scrapping!

  5. Good job on your copycat kit. The set up of your kit's name is especially notable. Vintage light bulbs and marquee style letters, which are so hot atm. How novel, to exclude patterned paper. I will try to do that. But alas, since I just reorganized my paper last month, I am itching to flip through it and find those excellent matches, I know are there. Oh well....There is always next month. For now, I am very happy that there is a real green! So need that in March.

  6. Your kit is perfect and absolutely matches the original although I shall be sad to miss your forgeries this month. But this is definitely a kit which looks a little different for you so I'm particularly interested to see how you create with it. I couldn't not add in papers - although there are really only a few :-)

  12. I think this really has the simple and classic feel of Ali's kit. I like all the text elements that you included and that light bulb veneer frame is very cute. I'm looking forward to seeing how you use all this loveliness this month!
